HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BLUE

Hi Everyone

A quick Birthday Card today using some of this years super Couture Creations Releases!

I cut a 5" card base from Core'dinations Foundations Bright White Card Stock.
Then using the Couture Creations Background Savvy Diffused I die cut the front of the card.

Then with a eye dropper and some spritz I added some splats of colour. Then using the Couture Creations Everyday Essentials Mini Flowers 1 and Mini Flowers 2 I made some quick flowers

I took the lrger of the flowers and punched a small hole in the middle of four of them. Then I cut into the hole and using the Couture Creations Turbo Glue Pen I adhered them into cones. Then with hot glue I layered them to form a 3D flower

With the below flower I simply bent up the petals and again layered them into a lovely little flower. I added some Couture Creations Adhesive Gemstones to the centres

the smallest flower I added a mini brad through the center and scrunched the petals to form a cute little 3D blossom. After creating these little beauties I sprayed them with spray adhesive and added some white glitter so they look frosted.

I then attached some muslin/gauze to the corner of my card and added the flowers. Be careful to put a peice of scrap paper in the middle of your card so the glue does not leak to the back of yur card through the diffused background.

Then Cut a matching Couture Creations Everyday Essentials Happy Birthday in a matching colour and attached where desired. You can also spread a bit of Couture Creations Glitz and Glamour over the front of your card for extra sparkle if you choose.

You can see in the pic below that when you open your card it will reveal that the front is quite unique.

Blue Butterfly

Hi Everyone and welcome to my first March post. This is a card I made for one of my childrens teachers so she could give it to her Mother for her birthday. Her Mums favourite colour being Blue!
I love the way this card turned out, when I look at it, it makes me feel happy! So I hope the recipient felt the same way!

To start this card I simply made a 6x6" base and cut two mats and distressed the edges and spritzed the center and added some faux stitching around the edge.
From the Couture Creations Background Savvy Collection I chose A Touch of Love Die to cut from white cardstock. (I love this background savvy collection)

Then I used some Silver Couture Creations Glitz and Glamour to scrap over the top of my die cut in a couple of places. Then turned the die cut slightly and secured with Couture Creations Turbo Glue Pen!!! (the best Glue pen eva! its so fine.... great for fine die cuts)

Then over the top I added a piece of white Muslin or Gauze securing it with Couture Creations Glue Spots. Then form white cardstock i cut a die cut with the Couture Creations Frames and frills Anastasia Set by taping 2 of the dies in place before cutting.

I cut 2 of the borders from the same Frames and Frills set and taped them together with Couture Creations 3mm Double Sided Tape. Then added them under my frame.

I added a bit of silver leafing to a Couture Creations Everyday Essential Edith die cut and embellished my card with that along with some blue roses and leaves die cut from the Couture Creations Everyday Essentials Floating Leaves and cut them into single leaves to finish off the roses. Then of course dont forget some Bling!

LOVE

Hi Everyone

Tis my delight to be on the blog again today with a very quick card, that I made for one of our very special teachers at school!

To make this card simply cut a 6.5"x 4.5" mat from Core Dinations Bight White Foundations Cardstock and using the Couture Creations Non Stick mat. Spray and dip your mat into various coloured ink.
Then simply add some chipboard corners, Muslin and flowers.

Then cut 3 - 4 Couture Creations Everyday Essentials Floating Leaves and cut them into single leaves placing them under your flowers on the front of your card.

1 Edith and 2 of her babies! (love love love this die set, fast becoming my go to dies)
I have embellished Edith and her littlies with some Leafing. One gold, one copper and one silver.

Stamp your card with a sentiment and your done!!
